Challenge
On any given Friday night, 550 students on average, would attend
the Chabad of Binghamton's weekend social gatherings. But
students had to jump through hoops like filling out forms,
navigating websites and sending emails just to RSVP for events -
a tedious and time-consuming process. Additionally, without
accurate attendee counts, properly allocating resources and
preparing for upcoming events was extremely difficult for Rabbi
Levi and his team. Overall communicating was very tough through
their existing channels like emails, website forms, and phone
calls, these channels failed to resonate with the younger,
text-centric student crowd.
Solution
Over 3 years ago, Chabad of Binghamton implemented Evant's Event Management Software
to open seamless communication lines with its
community. Students were thrilled, as now they could
effortlessly RSVP and stay updated on events by simply sending a
text to a dedicated number - eliminating clunky forms and
websites. Now through their effective text RSVP App, Chabad of Binghamton had a smoother system in place for thier whole community.
“With an attendance of ovrt 550 students on Shabbat dinners, communication is key. Evant
has helped us service our community to a whole new different
level - in a much more efficient and streamlined way.”
Rabbi Levy, Chabad of Binghamton
